Panoompi Boonyoo AKA "Ni"
Born in the village of Nakhonrajsima, Thailand in 1972, Ni had a passion for martial arts growing up as a young boy. Living & moving across continents, including Okinawa, with his family, Ni finally settled in Rhode Island.
Over the years after, he has trained with Fred Villaris's Kenpo Karate, moving on to New England Tae Kwon Do, & then on to the next best challenge. Under the wing of Master Bon Song, RI Teacher of Hapkido & Muay Thai as well as Former Muay-Thai Kick Boxing Champion, Ni studied with him for more than several years.
After a short hiatus, Ni went under the guidance & direction of Professor Richard Petronelli in Kuntao Jiu Jitsu - Street Smart Combat. After obtaining his 3rd Degree Black Belt, Ni was named Soke Dai of the Advanced Kuntao System.
Soke Ni has traveled all over the United States attending Martial Arts Seminars providing demonstrations of Advanced Kuntao with other elite Martial Arts instructors around the world.
Soke Ni has been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame 3 times & now a 4th time in March 2013 in the New Jersey Hall of Fame Center.
6th Degree Black Belt, Soke Ni, has been teaching students privately over the last 7-8 years & is now expanding into his new home of ZENergy.
Along with self discipline & control, Soke Ni instills strong values & old TRADITIONS into each & every student that he takes under his wing.
